Training Practice

Registrar GP (ST1/2/3 GP)

A Registrar GP (ST1/2 or ST3 GP) is a fully qualified doctor with several years’ postgraduate experience in hospitals which are attached to the practice prior to becoming a full-time principal in general practice. On some occasions their consultation is recorded on video with the patient’s agreement. This is for training purposes only.

SHO GP (F2 Doctor)

These are fully qualified doctors at an early stage of their general training who are attached to the practice as part of a rotation through various medical specialties.

Students

The surgery is a University-linked Training Practice. This means we take part in the training of medical and other students, who may be present during some consultations. They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality and ethical behaviour as qualified doctors. If you so wish. Please inform the receptionist to this effect.
